SAUSAGE!
If you’re lactose intolerant, eating most kinds of sausage is not a good idea. Many contain hidden lactose and may make you sick.
Italian sausage
Polish sausage (kielbasa)
Summer sausage
Pepperoni
Salami
Breakfast sausage
There are SOME varieties of summer sausage have no dairy in
them, but they’re hard to find and may not be in your area. CHECK LABELS and if
you’re unsure, call the company. You may also be able to try some vegan
sausages, but I’m not sure how they taste as I’ve never tried them. As a
general rule of thumb, MANY packaged things have lactose in them, so be very
careful. Sausages and prepared meats are some of the biggest offenders.
